Honey Pecan Granola

I have recently fallen in love with....

home made granola or muesli.

I didn't realise that it is really to easy to make it at home.

I love it by itself

Or with milk, yogurt for breakie.

Or even as a topping on ice-cream.

Honey Pecan Granola
2 cups of oats
1/2 cup of pepitas
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1 cup of crushed pecans
1 cup of dried cranberries
1/4 cup of honey
2-3 tsp vanilla essence
2tsp of mixed spice

Toss everything together. Bake at 180C for around 25 mins. Cool, then break it up. Store in air tight containers.

I have also used

Dried Strawberries with crushed walnuts, pecan nuts and even macademia nuts!

  2. OOOh I didn't realise it's so easy too. What's the reason for baking them, is it for the aroma?
